We live in uncertain times

Brexit, the rise of the right around the world, Trump in The White House, globalisation, climate change and the growing gap between rich and poor.

More than ever there is a need for brave voices to speak out for ordinary people, to challenge the establishment and use the arts to fight for peace, equality and justice.

The world has got to change,

and the future is not yet written.

The shared experience of theatre is about transformation and imagination, where we can collectively invent a better, kinder, fairer way to be.

Running a theatre company is a difficult business, especially if you irritate the establishment rather than court it – that’s why we need your support.

Can you help us continue to give voice to those that have none;

to make great theatre for the many, not the few?

Lots of smaller donations from many people like you, our ‘Ladderistas‘, give us financial stability.

We understand that when you make a donation to us of any size it’s a big deal. Especially in the current climate.

And our small committed team will show our gratitude in the best way we can by producing relevant, vital and inclusive theatre.
